February 12 — FREE Introduction to Pilates Workshop

Spend Valentine’s weekend with your Bae/Boo at this FREE 1-hour Introduction to Pilates workshop.

Learn about what Pilates can do to help you improve posture and elevate your mood, strengthen core support and relieve low back pain, and help you create balance in your body and your life!

You'll be introduced to the history and fundamentals of Pilates, learn basic exercises on both the Mat and Reformer, and see how Pilates can be part of your personal goals this year, whatever they may be.

No experience is necessary! In fact, this is specifically designed for people who have never done Pilates.


Meet Your Workshop Instructor

After teaching since 2009, Ash completed the Advanced teacher training program at The Pilates Center (TPC). She enjoys guiding experienced students through the advanced repertoire as well as helping new students build a solid Pilates foundation.

Ash thinks of Pilates as “Psychoanalysis for your body.” She loves how deeply the method lets us notice and learn our bodies–patterns, strengths, imbalances, how we hold tension–enabling real physical and psychological change.

Ash left her job as an intellectual property attorney to follow her passion for learning and sharing the Pilates Method, first acquiring certification through Core Pilates NYC in Union Square.

After 12 years of practice, she is still waiting to get bored during a workout.
