Susan is a focused coach of full body movement, incorporating her career as a personal trainer and passion for marathons/triathlons into her Pilates instruction.
Susan was inspired by a friend to try Pilates for the first time and immediately realized it was the “missing link” for her. The focus on breathing, spine health, and uniform development aligned perfectly with her desire to find balance in her sports training and performance. She has run 14 marathons and completed numerous triathlons including Maine’s ½ Ironman (woman!) in 2017. Sports are a big part of her life that have helped her find a community, challenge herself, and take part in many crazy adventures! “Pilates challenges me and requires me to find the ‘here and now’ in every movement. I look forward to sharing this with others!”
Susan has a B.A. in Interior Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, is an ACE Certified Personal Trailer (2012), an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Running Coach, and a TRX Qualified Group and Functional Instructor. Her Pilates training includes a Power Pilates Core Mat Training (2018) and The Pilates Center Intermediate Program (expected completion November 2020.)
