GETTING ON THE MACHINES

To get results with Pilates, we recommend that you come in three or four times a week. Many people choose to do a combination of mat classes and sessions on the machines. The machines are important because they improve your technique faster and complement the work you can do in a group session or on a mat at home. You will soon be doing movements that you never thought you would be able to do!

In private sessions, duets, and trios, we incorporate a wider variety of equipment into your routine. We use the Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Hi Chair, and Wunda Chair exercises that mat classes do not touch upon. (We promise they're not as scary as they sound.) All of the equipment is made by Peak Pilates, which manufactures the highest quality machines made for Pilates today.

In a Private Session, you have the undivided attention of the instructor. We fine tune the workout to your abilities and goals, taking into account any injuries or limitations.

Duets and trios are a cost effective way to get machine time once you have been doing private sessions for a while. Students also enjoy being paired with others of different skill levels so that they can be inspired or inspire others to greater levels of challenge.
