REFORMER ESSENTIALS (BEGINNER)

Reformer Essentials is the class for you if:
A. you are unsure about or intimidated by the Reformer machines
B. you want to strengthen your mat work
C. you have been waiting for a price that fits your budget
D. you want to use the resistance of spring-loaded equipment to tone and stretch every part of your body, especially your core
E. all of the above!

During this 50-minute class beginners will learn the details of the basic reformer exercises. The idea is that after taking the class, you will be prepared to join group or semi-private reformer sessions, althought many clients have chosen to retake the class numerous times, as Pilates has many layers and levels that are difficult to grasp in a short time.

REFORMER COMBO (INTERMEDIATE)

This Intermediate group class is a great way to get a well-rounded Reformer based Pilates workout in 50 minutes.

Reformer Combo Classes are intended for those who know the reformer work. Knowing the reformer exercises is vital to keeping the pace of the class moving for all participants.

If you don't know the Reformer, think about joining a Reformer Essentials class or taking ten private sessions to get you up to speed on the work we will do in most other mat/machine combo classes.

WUNDA CHAIR COMBO (INTERMEDIATE)

The Wunda Chair is an amazing piece of equipment invented by Joseph Pilates. In this 50 minute class, 3 students do an instructor-lead Wunda Chair workout while 3 other students are lead by a video of matwork, stretches and other Pilates props made right here at Springboard. Half way through class, the two groups switch, each getting both machine and mat work in one class.

The class is Intermediate because of the level of Pilates ability required in order to be safe on the equipment. It is important to have taken private sessions or group classes for a while before entering into this class. If you have any questions about your readiness, please ask the instructor. With that said, you do not necessarily need to have specifically trained on the Wunda Chair in order to sign up for the class.

DETAILS

For the Reformer Combo Classes, participants should have familiarity with the reformer routine. If you don't, you may want to think about signing up for one of our Reformer Essentials Classes to learn the work at a beginner's pace.

People must sign up in advance. Limit 4 people per class (6 people for Winda Chair Combo). Missed classes can be made up at other classes of equal or lesser value within the time frame of the series (provided there is space available). Unused classes expire at the end of the series.

These classes are intended for healthy bodies; if you have any injuries you may participate only if you know your own modifications.

These combo classes are a fabulous and fun way to get in a machine workout (and more!) at a very affordable price:
$18 per class if you sign up for 2+ times per week for the series
$20 per class if you sign up for 1 time per week for the series
$22 per class drop in
